Antioch builds simulation tooling for physical AI: robotics teams create digital instances of their hardware, connect simulated sensors that mimic real-world data, and use the environment for reinforcement learning, edge-case testing, and synthetic training-data generation without physical test arenas. Founded by Harry Mellsop, Alex Langshur, Michael Calvey, Collin Schlager, and Colton Swingle (formerly of Meta Reality Labs and Google DeepMind), the New York-based company raised an $8.5M seed round led by A* and Category Ventures, with participation from MaC Venture Capital, Abstract, Box Group, and Icehouse Ventures.
