British Pathé licenses footage from its archive of British and international newsreels produced between 1910 and 1970, digitized in 2002 into a collection the company reports at more than 3,500 hours of film, 90,000 individual items, and 12 million stills. The archive is licensed to broadcasters and producers for editorial and commercial use.
